Refund Policy (Instructional Classes): Sometimes things happen and you need to cancel. We get it! If you need to cancel, just let us know. You’ll receive a full refund if you cancel more than 72 hours before the start of your class, subject to a 3% cancellation fee of the booking total. If Fidalgo Paddlesports cancels a class we will issue you a full refund. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations received less than 72 hours before the start of your class.

Refund Policy (ACA Courses): Sometimes things happen and you need to cancel. We get it! If you need to cancel just let us know, and you’ll receive a full refund if you cancel more than 1 month before the start of your course. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made less than 1 month before the course start date.
- To cancel a reservation, simply send us an email or give us a call!
- To receive a full refund, cancel no later than 1 month before the start of your course.
- If Fidalgo Paddlesports cancels a class or event for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund. We will notify you if your course or event cancels.
- You can switch your registration one time to a future date without forfeiting your course fee as long as space is available, and so long that by switching your registration it does not cause your original course to cancel.
Cancellation Policy: Fidalgo Paddlesports may cancel any class, program, course or service at any time for any reason for reasons such as sickness, weather, emergency, equipment malfunction, staffing, road closure, close of venue, hazardous conditions, wildlife or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation on the part of Fidalgo Paddlesports you will receive a full refund.
General Policies: The following policies are policies not outlined in other sections of this page that apply to all programs executed by Fidalgo Paddlesports:
- All participants must sign a waiver before being admitted into any program.
- All participants must disclose any relevant health histories prior to the start of participants program that are applicable to participants health and safety while under the care and supervision of Fidalgo Paddlesports.
- We reserve the right to remove any participant, from any program, at any time, for any reason such as misrepresentation, failure to abide by directions, health and safety or behavior not consistent with creating a positive learning environment to all participants. No refund will be given.
- We reserve the right to not admit any participant into a program in which participant has already registered and paid for reasons such as misrepresentation, failure to abide by directions, health and safety or behavior not consistent with creating a positive learning environment to all participants. No refund will be given.
- The term “parent or guardian” means a legal parent and/or guardian who must also be a registered participant in the program.
Personal Kayak Policy: Participants are encouraged to bring their personal kayak on their class if they so choose. Fidalgo Paddlesports assumes no liability for damage or loss of a personal kayak. All personal kayaks must meet the following conditions:
- All kayaks are subject to approval. Call beforehand.
- Approved kayaks may be disapproved at venue upon visual inspection.
- Personal kayaks must be of a rigid hull type (no inflatable) and have water tight compartments in both the bow and stern.
- Personal kayaks must meet the common standard and definition of a sea kayak.
Personal SUP Policy: Because of the way Fidalgo Paddlesports conducts our SUP classes, personal SUP’s are generally discouraged because of the wide design features and performance characteristics of all the types of SUP’s on the market. If you so choose to bring your personal SUP to a class a judgement will be made at the venue on its suitability. Fidalgo Paddlesports assumes no liability for damage or loss of a personal SUP.
Privacy Policy: Your privacy is important to you, and to us as well! That’s why we collect only the information we need and nothing else. Information we collect such as participants age, health questionnaire responses, payment information, contact information and registration history is used exclusively for the execution of Fidalgo Paddlesports programs and is never sold or rented by us to a third party.
