Rolling is an important and useful skill to take your paddling to the next level and into new and dynamic environments. It keeps you in your boat instead of the water in that eventual capsize and increases your safety in the marine environment. This class will focus on rolling basics, body position and proper execution in step-by-step instruction using the two basic rolling techniques, the C to C roll and the sweep roll. By course end, students should have the skills to work on a roll independently and continue to increase their proficiency in execution.
